| Roundabout Traffic Rules |

| Recently three roundabouts have been constructed at Exit 58 (Lee Road)
in Brighton, near The Emrich Center. These may be new experiences for many drivers.
Studies have shown that they are more efficient and result in fewer serious accidents
than either a four-way stop or an intersection that has a traffic light.
Follow a few simple rules and you should have no trouble. |
| Yield |
Traffic coming into the circle must yield to vehicles already in it. |
| Turns |
Although all traffic in a roundabout moves in a counterclockwise direction,
all turns are right turns. Turn right when entering or exiting a roundabout. |
| Don't Stop |
Never stop in a roundabout. If you miss your turn, go around again. |
| Speed Limit |
The speed limit in a roundabout is 20 miles per hour. |

From the East |

- Take I-96 West to U.S. 23.
- Merge onto U.S. 23 South at Exit 148.
- Leave U.S. 23 at the first opportunity - Exit 58 (Lee Road).
- As you approach the roundabout, you will merge right as you enter it.
Go a quarter of the way around the circle & follow
the signs directing you to Lee Road.
- After leaving the roundabout, proceed west on Lee Road to the first stop light
(at Rickett Road).
- Turn left (south) onto Rickett Road & go to the first stop sign (Maltby Road).
- Turn right (west) onto Maltby Road & go about 2 miles to a stop sign
(at Hamburg Road). Proceed straight ahead and cross the bridge.
- Turn right (west) at the first opportunity after the bridge, onto Bauer Road
(gravel surface). Go 0.5 mile to the first road (Teahen Road).
- Turn left (west) onto Teahen Road and go 0.75 mile to the top of the hill.
- The Emrich Center will be on your right.

From the South |

- Take U.S. 23 North to Exit 58 (Lee Road). The ramp will cause you to loop
around so you are headed south.
- As you approach the roundabout you will merge right as you enter the roundabout.
Go a quarter of the way around the circle & follow the signs
directing you to Lee Road.
- You will cross U.S. 23 & come to two more roundabouts.
- You should go halfway around both roundabouts, again following the signs to Lee Road.
- After leaving the roundabouts, proceed west on Lee Road to the first stop light
(at Rickett Road).
- Turn left (south) onto Rickett Road & go to the first stop sign (Maltby Road).
- Turn right (west) onto Maltby Road & go about 2 miles to a stop sign
(at Hamburg Road). Proceed straight ahead and cross the bridge.
- Turn right (west) at the first opportunity after the bridge, onto Bauer Road
(gravel surface). Go 0.5 mile to the first road (Teahen Road).
- Turn left (west) onto Teahen Road and go 0.75 mile to the top of the hill.
- The Emrich Center will be on your right.
